REDBACK FLYER (9) has come into his own in his last couple of starts with a pair of easy wins at Pinjarra on both courses there. He was runner-up on this track when resuming from a spell and will relish stepping up to a middle distance for the first time. He drops 3kg and the hat-trick beckons. BAYHARA (3) found the right race at Geraldton 10 days ago and unleashed with a quick turn of foot to score by over 7 lengths. This race is much harder, but a similar performance would make her hard to beat again. AUDIO BOY (2) is a consistent gelding who caught the eye with a solid late run to finish fourth at Pinjarra-Scarpside 8 days ago. William Pike steps into the irons for the first time, and the pair merits healthy respect. QUEEN OF JERUSALEM (1) won here in a stronger grade in her penultimate start before running on too late in another good field at Albany nearly a fortnight ago over 2100m. She drops back to 1800m, which is a query, but in her current space, she has to be respected.
