IMMEDIACY (3) is entered in Thursday's Warrnambool Cup so there's good reason to expect he won't be here, but if he is, he's clearly the one to beat. He closed off well fresh and went right on with it at Mornington, coming clear in an open handicap when well backed to score by 1.5 lengths. Sets up nicely here. ZIRYAB (10) is another in the Warrnambool Cup field. He's off a win in the Terang Cup last time out when leading throughout as favourite and he draws to lead similarly here. Big watch on AETHELFLAED (9). She ran a huge race for 2nd to Zardozi in the 2023 Victoria Oaks before doing a tendon. She resumed off a long spell and was panels above in a Class 1 at Canberra fresh. Have to respect. ARDAKAN (1) creates interest in his Australian debut. Off a long break but has form around top top line stayers overseas. SHAIYHAR (4) is back in the right race and can bounce back strongly.
