Open race. AHHA AHHA (5) was far too good here last time out to break her maiden, showing early speed and kicking right away to score by four lengths. Can land on speed from the inside draw and measure up strongly. LOWLANDS (14) tried hard in a handy race at Pakenham last time out, beaten half a length with a good gap to third. Draws nicely here and a repeat of that effort will see her hard to beat once more. BUTTERNUT PRINCESS (4) resumes. She won her maiden first up last time in, tackling some handy races thereafter. The second to Sweethearted at Pakenham prior to a spell reads very well for this. GROUSE MOUNTAIN (8) broke through for a deserved maiden win here last time out and may be able to go on with it now. BLACKBERRY BOMB (2) was just fair fresh but this is a fair bit easier.
