VORACIOUS (6) goes well for hoop Jones who has two wins and a second from just three steers and has been racing with a lot of confidence since joining the new stable. Looks ready for the step-up to the mile journey now and only needs some luck navigating from the sticky draw to be playing a major role in the finish. FRENCH ENDEAVOUR (11) wasn't too far off them in Group 2 company three back and has been just behind the placings at the past two QLD outings. Will be rock-hard fit for this and looms as the main danger. PIRAEUS (5) has placed six of eight over this trip and brings solid Sydney metropolitan formlines to the table. Cannot be underestimated. LUDOVISI (2) strips fitter third-up from the spell and gets the services of Williams in the irons. Keep safe. Kiwi raider CROUPIER (10) has put back-to-back wins together across the ditch and any market confidence must be noted.
