EASTANDWEST (7) has been racing super this time in. Course proven. Quinella and trifecta must. BELLO MIO (9) is going well with two minor placings from three starts this campaign. Turned in another good effort last start when second over 1000m at this track. In a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. ALMINETTE (11) turned in a nice run when fresh from a spell two starts back at Ashburton then missed the placings last time when 2.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1200m at the same venue. Open to improvement so she can make amends.
