GETAFIX (3) has raced twice this prep and failed to deliver, albeit in far stronger races than this. Best form last prep came at or around this trip in similar company. Only needs a bit of luck from a wide gate to be right in the finish. Victorian mare SPARKLING (2) showed pace then battled on fairly to finish fourth when resuming over 1200m at Randwick last time out. Goes well with that run under the belt. Has the visitor's draw which makes it tough but with luck she is good enough. COLOPHON (12) did some work to go forward then caved in over the concluding stages at Randwick recently. Bolted in the run before when able to dictate. In well after the claim and can bounce back. INVADER ZIM (6) warmed up late but never threatened when resuming over 1200m at Randwick last start. Won two of three when second-up so he is right in this. OH DIAMOND LIL (5) resumes. Took all before her last prep. Trialling in dashing style so she looks set to pick up where she left off.
