SASS APPEAL (2) rates clear off a very game fourth in the G1 Empire Rose on Saturday, only beaten 3.6 lengths by Lady Shenandoah after sitting outside a fast tempo. Provided she backs up from that, she's clearly the one to beat. POLYMNIA (8) has solid Sydney form, placing fourth in the G3 Angst Stakes on Everest Day after early trouble. She needs another win (1 from 22) but sets up very well and won't get too many better chances. FIREBALL MISS (1) was just fair fresh against the boys in Listed company over 1400m but should strip much fitter and was a G1 Queensland Oaks winner over the Winter. BELLA VERONA (12) is racing well in easier and could measure up.

Very good on Saturday and this is a lot easier, very hard to catch.
