PERISHER (9) is the horse to beat after resuming with a decisive BM88 win at Rosehill, where he beat Nobler by just under two lengths and looked to have more to offer second-up. Looks an import for sharp connections that can go through the grades and end up winning a nice race in the future. J-Mac on, he'll sit midfield and charge late. VEYEPEE (12) is the main danger. He was beaten only two and a half lengths as favourite at Caulfield after covering ground on a day that suited those on speed. Two wins prior were excellent and he draws to do no work. NOBLER (6) must turn the tables on Perisher, but his consistency is hard to fault and he should strip fitter. DIFFERENT GRAVY (11) was okay fresh and can be running on late, he did win over this trip last year.
